Patients with HFp EF suffer mentally and physically, like their HFr EF counterparts, and are markedly limited in terms of their functional capacity and quality of life.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"margin-bottom: 1rem; line-height: 1.6;\"\u003eYet in contrast to HFr EF, there are few effective pharmacologic treatments for HFp EF, despite numerous clinical trials. To address this urgent need, many clinicians and researchers have focused on this important medical and societal issue.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"margin-bottom: 1rem; line-height: 1.6;\"\u003eImproved strategies now exist to diagnose this condition, and multifaceted treatment options can help to alleviate some of the morbidity of the disease.
